So... How come we never do anything fun? I mean, I guess some of you guys think explosions are fun or whatever -- and they can be! -- but shouldn't there be like, I dunno, a company picnic, or a morale-boosting festival? Let's face it, guys, as a team we don't have the greatest track record of successes.

Y'know, some places do this thing like a twist cone, where it's both chocolate and vanilla, and it's split down the middle.

Do you get brain freeze real easy? Or do you just want it to be a treat, so it's gotta be a splurge thing?

Not so much my brain freezing, more like all the stomach aches I'd get.

Mission or not, stomach aches pretty much prevent you from doing anything else with your time. [ Crawling around on your belly when you have a tummy ache is also not recommended. ]

Oh. I don't really get that problem.

[It was weird to hear everyone talking about stomach aches and sweets together... They just made her stomach happy, really.]

I guess I wouldn't even want to eat ice cream all the time if I did, though...

Man, you must be a pain to raise. [ Harsh? Perhaps, but imagining a little kid who never got stomach aches from eating candy was actually kind of terrifying. ]

... I don't know. It would explain his enormous hands, I guess, but if I went back to where I'm from proclaiming we're all video game characters, then I'd be locked in an insane asylum.

I care about what really matters.

If it's integral to a mission, then it matters. If it relates to me, then it matters. Hell, even then, it might not be important. Whether someone believes they're a video game character or a cat or a ghost or whatever doesn't hold any power over me and won't affect me in any way.

But someone who can control the world's entire armed forces with the snap of his fingers will.
