So... How come we never do anything fun? I mean, I guess some of you guys think explosions are fun or whatever -- and they can be! -- but shouldn't there be like, I dunno, a company picnic, or a morale-boosting festival? Let's face it, guys, as a team we don't have the greatest track record of successes.

[Kirikou doesn't really seem to be doubting it, considering the wackiness that happens in his own home, but he's definitely getting interested.]

Yeah, of course! I was -- [She's gotten a little better about it, but she still stumbles mid-sentence.] -- born! To race. A lot of people do it, where I'm from!

Awesome! There's no cars here- that I've seen anyway. [Johto why are you weird] But have you thought about starting that sort of thing up here with Pokemon?

Still gotta find the right place for a track, though! These things've gotta be perfect, y'know?

Yeah, I know what you mean.

You're the expert, so what kind of place would be the best, do ya think?

Well --

[She's prepared for this, actually. After being told that the Lake of Rage would be too mucky, she'd started thinking about what would be right.]

Gotta have a long enough stretch of dry land, right? It can have obstacles and turns, sure, but can't be too rough or someone could get hurt. I can go through a route and clean it up a little, maybe do a little trim... But I've also gotta make sure no one's traveling messes the thing up. Extra space for people to watch through the whole thing is a bonus, since y'don't got the big screens and things here. And I'd also like a space with clear skies! Then we could broadcast it from the air, and we can also hold a flying race. And if there's a good lake or something right there? Another race can go there for that crowd.

But from what I've seen, if you got the good conditions, you're not gonna get the right space, y'know? My buddy told me to try around a farm place, but we haven't even left to go there yet.

[Kirikou listens patiently, nodding his head at some points.]

Yeah, I can see the problem there... If it's not one thing, it's another, right? Well, if I see any spots that look good, I'll let you know.

What about air or water racing? You'd have to use Pokemon, and everyone going into it would have to have theirs know Fly or Surf, but there's plenty of water and air and junk so finding a place to race wouldn't be too hard.

Or is that a dumb idea?
