SECOND LAP. [rocket frequency audio; video from lake of rage.]

[AUDIO; LOCKED TO ROCKETS]

So... How come we never do anything fun? I mean, I guess some of you guys think explosions are fun or whatever -- and they can be! -- but shouldn't there be like, I dunno, a company picnic, or a morale-boosting festival? Let's face it, guys, as a team we don't have the greatest track record of successes.

[NOT THAT SHE...MINDS THAT...]

Even some of you old, boring guys gotta enjoy something fun! Throw us younger members a bone, here.

Alright guys, I've got a question. And I need you to think really hard on it! This is important.

[She stares into the camera for several seconds, brows furrowed to show the seriousness of the situation.]

...You can only eat one thing for the rest of your life. Go.

[...Yeah, she might be going a little bit stir-crazy in her tent, today.]

Well a quiche is supposed to be a sort of savoury pie, so I don't think you can make a chocolate quiche...but even something as bland and boring as spinach can be made in a delicious meal when it's my wife who cooks it! Though if you're asking me to name a desert, then it'd have to be apple pie.

We don't need to ask for permission to have a party, unless we're holding one at HQ! We just need to make it look like a non-Rocket event, so no one will suspect anything. Let's organize it on a weekend too, so that everyone can take a break from work and enjoy themselves.

She isn't just a 'pretty good cook', she's the best cook in the world! She can even make Brussels sprouts tasty; I don't know how she does it. And her apple pie is the best way to end dinner; golden crust, just breaking in the centre so that you can smell the hot apples and cinnamon inside, with a scoop of ice cream and drizzled with honey...ah, I make myself hungry just thinking about it!

Hmm? Oh, so you must be Vanellope! I met your friend Ralph just one or two weeks ago. He mentioned that he was travelling with you, and that the two of you came from the same world. That must be nice to have a friendly face around.

My name is Maes Hughes! I'm actually a newbie too, I just finished my compulsory beginner's training. And if you ask me, a party sounds like just the thing that we need to foster some friendship between us Rocket members!

[Don't knock it till you try it Vanellope, that spinach quiche is simply one of a kind.]

Of course! I'll take any chance I get to share my wife's amazing cooking with other people. Trust me, you'll love it.

I know, I have a friend who's just like that too! He's got super big muscles, and he's huge, just like a bear. But he's far from dangerous. In fact, he's the total opposite! I don't think he'd even hurt a fly.

It's an honor to be elected! Who else is on this committee? We should all meet up and start planning.

Two is better than none. I'll ask around too and see if I can find anyone else who's interested. But it looks like you've got a few people's attention already; I think you're off to a great start.
