So... How come we never do anything fun? I mean, I guess some of you guys think explosions are fun or whatever -- and they can be! -- but shouldn't there be like, I dunno, a company picnic, or a morale-boosting festival? Let's face it, guys, as a team we don't have the greatest track record of successes.

Right? Even in training, it's all those weird NPC guys around. Besides, what kinda proper group would we be if we didn't actually show up some place as a group, y'know?

Unfortunately, that seems to be a trend. Our humble department isn't as big as it once was. We don't get many visitors either, which is a shame because we have so many toys we would be more than willing to let you all try out.

I like to make network posts every so often to remind everyone of our existence, but a gathering would be just as effective.

[There's a slight pause on his end as he thinks about Vanellope's comment.]

You know, I can't recall the last time we actually did appear somewhere as a group. There are missions every now and then where we group up, but we've never all been in one spot together in the time I've been here.

[Right. If it makes him feel better, then almost everyone is old, compared to Vanellope.]

[Because no offense, but some of you other Rockets... Weird definition of fun.]

Hey, nuh-uh! Missions don't even count. That's work. Like, we don't even get breaks! We should all have a party. Like prom! Only not stuffy and formal.

I can't really say since I don't know your preferences. Like I suggested, you're welcome to visit the labs whenever you're at the base next.

[Spoilers: she's probably not going to like their toys.]

Breaks? [He raises an eyebrow.] What have you been doing? We have plenty of those.

Regardless...a party does sound nice.

[He rather enjoyed himself at the prom this year, and one specifically for baddies could prove to be kinda cool.]

Would we have it at the base, then? It seems the Goldenrod base gets the most traffic; we wouldn't have too much trouble assembling everyone here.

I mean like a break break. Even if we're out an' about not doing big group missions, we still gotta do something, like steal things or clean things or sell things.

[There's the sound of Vanellope blowing her bangs out of her face, seeming a little bit exasperated.]

Our good Commander Hissyfit said no. Something about drawing attention.

That is what I mean. The science department must work on an entirely different schedule from you field agents, from the sound of things.

[He'd call dinner at nice Goldenrod restaurants a pretty good break, anyway...]

The Commander said that? Hmmm. [He thinks that over.] Actually, he's likely right. It would be suspicious if any of us were seen congregating to a single space. It would probably be for the best to have it somewhere Team Rocket is not known to dominate.

So like, what, New Bark Town? Rent out the whole ferry service?

[Because surely that wouldn't seem at all suspicious.]

Don't most of the newbies congregate there, though? It would be quite suspicious if they attempted to take the ferry to Pallet Town, only to be refused service due to an unknown company buying it out for the day.

[NOT AT ALL SUSPICIOUS.]

Our best bet would be a town not many trainers stay in for long. Mahogany, perhaps?

I like Mahogany. S'where I'm camping near, actually. Buuut I dunno, it's a pretty quiet place. If all of us being in Goldenrod is noticeable, then Mahogany'd prob'ly be a nightmare, too.

Unless there was a cover event, or something.
